Mondays (8-9pm) Thai Boxing

The Atmosphere
at Phase One is very friendly and beginners are made to feel more than welcome and to participate to the best of their ability, whilst those who are more advanced are encouraged to improve their performance. Frank also is available at the end of the session for those who want any nutritional and lifestyle advice and is currently doing competitive training for those who are interested.

Mondays (8-9pm) and Wednesdays (6-7pm): Thai Boxing, which develops upper and lower body strength and is very good for the back, leg and glute muscles. The session starts with a vigorous fifteen minute warm up, we then develop technique and strength and finish with friendly sparring between those who want to, those who do not can continue with good stretching.

Fridays (7-8): Chute Boxing; which is mixed martial arts of Western Boxing, Thai Boxing, Jiu Jitsu and Grappling, develops and conditions the entire body. The session starts with a vigorous warm up, then circuit training designed specifically for Chute Boxing, then we focus on developing technique and strength and finishes with friendly sparring between those who want to, those who do not can continue with good stretching.

Instructor Profile

Frank Bohec started attending boxing clubs from a very early age and this passion extended to Thai Boxing as he grew older. Due to an interest in Chute Boxing he started attending Phase One's training sessions and the class was offered to him when the original trainer left for Italy to open a new club (Gracie Barra).

Frank has fought competitively, is a qualified personal trainer, massage therapist and offers private fitness training as well as the three training sessions he takes at Phase One. These training sessions are designed in order to develop strength, power, endurance and technique.
